A Very Merry Blogsong

Seasons Greetings and all that jazz!

Bah, humbug you say? Christmas is long over, we're all moving on...?

Now wait one tinsel decorating second - Christmas comes but once a year, and we should be milking the yuletide festivities as long as we can, right?

This year was my first Christmas outside of home without family. To combat any possible grinch-like development, I ate loads of carbohydrates (no cabbage soup in sight, now THAT'S what I call Christmas!), spent almost $100 on imported deli goods (hmmm cheese), and called lots of people to tell them that I would be calling them the next day... that is until I ran out of credit on my phone. Yes. There is that.

Now how on earth could I let everyone know that I was thinking of them and to wish them love, happy vibes and Westfield shopping vouchers? Facebook is so impersonal. Ugh. Well have no fear, we have no problems in life, only challenges -- and a solution was most certainly found. (The solution obviously accompanied by a trip to a gingerbread house to buy the cake to give me the energy - hey we're all about the eating, drinking and being merry here!)

So, without further ado -- check out "A Very Merry Blogsong" (GASP - NOW WITH VIDEO! Guard your eyes people, I was obviously having WAAAAAY too much fun. And there will be more videos coming soon...).

NB. Too many activities and greetings happen at this time of year, so I condensed them all into one blogsong designed as (stocking) filler between Christmas and New Years. And let's face it, you don't have to celebrate Christmas to enjoy it and make fun of me... it's for everyone. After all, this time of the year is for giving (I just hope that what I give you is some sort of enjoyment as opposed to a headache!)

I hope you all had a fabulous time, and will continue to do so.

See you next year (can't wait, 2010 is going to be HUGE!),
